Brian Thomas founds Tradewind Sound in San Angelo — a passion for live audio born from a musical family with ties to the hit "Last Kiss."
Full-scale live event production begins. The systems get bigger, the shows get louder, and the reputation starts spreading past county lines.
The installation division takes off — churches, nightclubs, restaurants, and venues across West Texas get permanent Tradewind systems.
Tradewindsound.com goes online in the dial-up era, backed by pro gear from EV, Tomcat, Bil-Jax, Wenger, and American DJ.
Chris LeDoux plays under a Tradewind truss roof — one of the landmark outdoor country productions of the era.
Festival and arena era: Bubbapalooza, Crudefest, and national acts from Willie Nelson to Creedence Clearwater Revisited, Quiet Riot to 3 Doors Down.
LED video walls, digital consoles, nationwide reach — same family business, same phone-answering, show-must-go-on service since day one.
